Leon River Restoration Project
Phase 1 Report
The objective of Phase I of the project was to document pretreatment conditions in the watershed so that the impacts of changes could be documented after juniper removal. Phase II of the project will begin in the summer of 2005 and will begin the process of quantifying the influence of juniper removal on wildlife habitat, range conditions, water quantity and quality and economics (enterprise cost-returns). Please keep in mind that the Phase I report is the pretreatment component of the project and not final research results.
