I have a pasture of Bahia and common Bermuda grass mixed. Will one or the other take over? |

Probably not entirely. Bahia and Bermuda are pretty common in pastures here in Central Texas and I have seen them growning along side each other for a long time. They will expand and contract as conditions favor one of the other but with out cultural inputs to remove one or the other they will both stay. |

Just took over management of a ranch located in Austin County, norhteast of Bellville. We are on deep sandy soil with established coastal bermuda grass. The problem has been lack on management thus allowing bahia grass to get a good foothold in some of our pastures. The owner wants to control; or more like wipe out the bahiagrass. What do you recommend to use. When do you apply it and method of application..Also when would you retreat the pastures, and what is the cost per acre for the chemical.. |

What harm does it do to a coastal hay field if you graze it before winter after making the last cutting? |

We have a mixed hayfield of Bahia and Burmuda. Our vet recently said 'don't feed to horses until freshly- cut hay has "seasoned" 30 days. Is this a valid statement, we have fed our horses freshly-cut rolled hay before this year.???? |
