I just sprigged 7 ac of Jiggs 4 weeks ago. I have a good stand coming up. Is it to early to spray with 2-4-D? I have some broadleaf weeds coming up that I want to kill before it chokes my grass out.

You need to wait till the Jiggs has established good roots and is growing well before application of any herbicide. I think 4 weeks would be too early.

I have 45 acres in Medina Co. I am thinking about planting Jiggs bermuda. This would be mainly for horses, but I would feed to cows also. I am wanting to know if this grass would be a good selection for our area ? if so, do you know where I can get spriggs ? What month should I plant it? How thick should I plant it ?, and how long before I could bale it if we had the RAIN ? Thanks
