I'd like to know the recommended watering rates for costal. We have a small field under a pivot with good water. We're in Taylor County south of Abilene.
If we use round-up to treat the grass burrs and our grass is not in top condition could we have more damage that good?

Don't know a difinitive answer to your question, but understand coastal can utilize very high amounts of water & fertilizer. Both should be applied in the proper proportions.

Suggest you check with the TAMU research center in Stephenville as they have irrigation there. You could also check with the Noble Foundation at Noble.org These folks should be able to advise the proper amount of water & fertilizer.

Good luck & happy trails.

Brock
