I put Cheyenne in three horse paddocks last spring. I took them down to plain dirt first with a tiller and sprayed with Grazon when it got about 4" tall. Gave them fertilizer and the stuff took off. The stuff grew faster than the horses could eat it. I was lucky and got rain when I needed it.
