I live in Panola County and you say to wait until the Tifton 85 greens up before digging and planting the sprigs, but what about Jiggs? Do we have to wait until they green up before digging sprigs? I know that coastal can be dug and planted earlier like December,January and February but never heard about Jiggs.

It's really not a good idea to sprig prior to green up. It can be done but you are taking a risk of having very low establishment or total lose, especially if you have a late freeze.
