Don't laugh now, but I do have a question to ask! I have a small charity foundation with 2 miniature horses that I show at charity fundraisers and children's events to help raise money for local charities. I keep these 2 little guys in my large backyard. They have a small covered loafing pen and are fed horse pellets and have free access to hay. I let them out in the yard during the day for exercise and play. We have had heavy rains which flooded my yard and basically did in my St. Augustine grass. I have brought in soil to fill in the low spots and would now like to seed with something that would provide some grazing and could stand high traffic. I am not concerned about this being a lawn, but of more benefit to the horses. I have a sprinkler system and can also rotate the area into 2 sections. Any advice for me?
