Ok, so at the begining of May, I sprayed Cimmeron to kill the bahia. In most areas, the plan worked well - the bahia stunted and died and the bermuda grass took back the ground it lost.

BUT - in one 10 acre pasture, nothing has come up to take the place of the bahia. Nothing except some sort of rag weed.

We are in eastern Milam county, in the Brazos Valley. Considering we can irrigate, what should we do?

We were thinking discing then seeding bermuda, but I just read that we can seed jiggs. We don't have much time for hand sprigging or for working with tops, so we were thinking seeding.

Dusty - like mentioned on the Cattle Today forum, you might just want to lightly till those bare areas and then plant some Bermuda seed into moist soil and before a rain. It should come up. There is no commercial Jiggs seed - its a hybrid - hybrid don't produce commercial seed that I know of. The other option is to wait until about September and plant some Bermuda spriggs or tops into moist tilled soil.
