I am relatively new to growing hay. My father and I have a joint venture near Ennis. We have been growing a hybrid-sudan for the last two years on approxiametly 15 acres of our 90. I am wondering if there is something I can plant and grow during the winter that will be of benefit to my sudan field (i.e. added nutrients and lower my fertilizer costs in the spring.
