Starting date with Lab: September 1, 1999

Position: Lab Manager – Day to day operations of lab; maintain records; billing; customer counseling.

Other experience: Cattle rancher; Administrative technician in Agriculture Headquarters of Texas Department of Criminal Justice; Coca-Cola development sales representative; Coca-Cola human resource assistant.

Hobbies:  I live on the family ranch and my husband is a hay farmer.  Who has time for hobbies!  Anyway...I raise and train Catahoula Leopard dogs.  I enjoy riding whenever I have the time.  I love to read, but now days it is limited to keeping up with the latest beef industry news.

Future plans: I continue to work on building up the lab client base and getting the word out to other livestock producers the importance of monitoring and managing animal nutrition.  I feel privileged to apart of a program that benefits both the lifelong rancher as well as newcomers. Future plans also include continuing to assist in the management of the family ranch to improve forage utilization and livestock productivity.
