Phygrow 3.0
Version 3.0 of phygrow retains the calculations tested in Version 2.0,
and implements vegetation consumption (grazers, fire, termite) as
driven by stocking rate rules. The calculations have been shown
to give reasonable values for basin scale runoff input to the
SWAT model, as well as predictive values for controlled burn
schedules for the Welder Wildlife Foundation. The 3.0 interface
has moved from the previous versions unix only x-windows display
to a multi-platform java client developed for the
Common Modeling Envrionment for data entry and results.
A bundled windows standalone verstion (with both the CME client
and server preconfigured to run on the local machine) is
available
as well. The calculation engine is accessable as a perl module
for large scale, multi-site runs.
